Requirements for Taking the PTE Test
- A valid passport is required for test registration and verification
- Candidates must be at least 16 years old (parental consent is required for minors).
- A stable internet connection and a computer for online preparation, if opting for
self-study.
PTE Test Structure
The PTE Academic test consists of three sections, assessing English skills in an integrated format:
1.Speaking & Writing (54–67 minutes) – Includes personal introduction, read aloud, repeat sentences, describe images, and essay writing.
2. Reading (29–30 minutes) – Multiple-choice questions, reorder paragraphs, and fill-in-the-blanks.
3. Listening (30–43 minutes) – Summarizing spoken text, multiple-choice questions, and writing from dictation
